Ohhhhh, The Academy is and Panic at the Disco.... what an AWESOME concert. There was like a group of 8 of us that went out in Grand Rapids. I took Melissa. She has never been to a punk concert. She rocks to the music, but just never checked out the scene... anyway, she had an AMAZING time. Every two minutes she'd be like "OMG! I LOVE YOU! THANK YOU!" haha! And I got to see my favorite lead singer... yum. :^) Plus, crowdsurfing to meet all of the bands wasnt that bad either.

John, I'm just getting too old for this stuff! I mean, what am i going to be? 50? before i stop letting all of these little tikes feel me up? haha. Anyway, as soon as I get the rest of the pics I'll post them. Dang... what a good concert. Took my breath away.

Im beat from striptease class. I'm gonna go stretch and read an entire book for my exam tomorrow. eeeeeek!

Im just runnin on a feelin here, but I think February is going to be a good month.

It was sweet bc Buffalo Wild Wings put him up in a hotel, so i was lucky enough to feel like a princess for a few nights! My favorite!

Sometimes I am so lucky.
I got invited to Melissas surprise party thrown by stacia.
Im totally not going alone.
So you know who wanted to be my date? Esteban!

Anywho, I planned on that, but then decided that I'm just going to need to take my girls to this one for moral support.

The OC Anniversary party last night was SOOO fun! Old Chicago rented out a ballroom at a hotel and like 20 bedrooms and everyone came and danced and played games, and won awards and crashed.

I won BEST HAIR 2006!

Ashley bit one of my pirate hooker earrings out of my ear. yowch! I adore that girl...

Anywho, I didnt get to bed until like 4:30 so im off to watch 'Meet the Barkers' and call it a night.

I have to work tonight, and im so tired. I didnt get home until like 4 this morning. I was so wrapped up in hanging out with Jason and Steve Miller! We went and hung out at some sushi restaurant/bar in Royal Oak, so that was pretty sweet. And no wonder I dont date (which is a lie).... i have my jailbird boys at my back who really just dont want anyone messing with their girl! I just kind of realized how possessive they are of me, tonight. It was so great to hang, and catch up. Laugh at the Old Bd's times. I completely understand why I miss home so much. I had some of the best times of my life back in Rochester will all of those guys. And how fun was Mongo when we first started working there, and literally the only rule was, "do what you want, just dont walk on the counters."

Anyway, word on the street is the manager that fired me is getting fired soon too.
HA HA, Karma baby, maybe if you didnt get rid of some of your best employees your sales wouldnt be down so much, and you could keep your job.

Ok, thats not nice, but seriously, what goes around comes around.

Alright, final verdict in....

30 min nap. then work, then playing with kev tonight.

NO SCHOOL TOMORROW!

Wow, I cant believe I made it through this week. Im pooped. This class load is going to kill me.

Grant and I got home from Kelly's going away party pretty late last night, and I dont know if he was trying to compete in a snoring contest or if his face was directly in my ear, but he snored SOOOOO loud all night. It must have been a combination of both, lol. I cant wait until next year when I dont have a twin bed anymore. Actually thats a lie... Those Huge King size beds are so distant. ya know?

Well, I'm back in EL after an amazing week at home. I saw pretty much everyone on my list of VIPs back at home and spent a ton of time with my family, which was awesome. I am so lucky to have such a great family. I miss them already! As for the Christmas presents, here are the pictures, as promised....

I am having such a good time in rochester. I hung out with Shannon and Craig last night. Those guys just treat me like such a princess. Craig is awesome because our souls are just always perfectly aligned. We always think the same thing, and feel the same way, and lets just admit it... we go together like peas and carrots. And Shannon, ugh. Hes so accommodating to me. I just curl up in a ball with him and hes just so fantastic. And we talk so openly, we flirtatiously laugh at our past, and shoot, i even have this weird little splotch of a rash on my tailbone, and hes the one i run up to to check it out for me. Those are my boys.

I think I have a lot of boys, lol.

Tonight Pat came over. I made him dinner, and we hung out with my family. (Hes a perfect fit, its hilarious). I love him because when he and my dad talk, he DOESNT tune him out... which (if you dont know my dad) is amazing. Pat's genuinely interested and responsive which is probably why my dad adores him. Personally I think hes just sucking up so he can score the VW van lol. He bought me a cool slurpee cup that lights up in 5 different colors!

On a more serious note, I just had an amazing talk with Linds (as always) and ya know, GAME OVER. Game over dude! I mean, what i've realized is that when it comes to dating, I've dated quite a few people, some of which treated me better than others, but ultimately I've had a relationship that I'd like to think overall went pretty well. I had fun, I was respected, we didnt fight, and had we a pretty clean breakup, plus we rebuilt an awesome friendship. (yes john. im talking about you). The point is, why the heck would i waste my time on this one meaningless relationship that is viscous and circular and immature, and harmful to my body and soul, when i know i can have better. HECK! I've been treated well before, why would i lower my standards to anything less than that? Its too bad it took me a year to figure this out, lol. This whole last paragraph is a great prelude to mine and pats joint New Years resolution/bet. We're tag-teamin them this year!

I dont know. Those are my thoughts for the night. Im actually really happy about all of them!

Tomorrow is family Christmas (I cant wait). Jacko is comin as my date. Its gonna be fun.

Im so tired. An entire day with my sister will do that to ya.

Home for the Holidays

I'm so glad I made it home for a couple of extra days! I've just been bumming around, but I think i'll go over and see shannon later tonight. :o) horray!

My dad found me a new computer today!

Oh, and get this... after spring semester I will only need 34 more credits to graduate.... with a double major! I'll be living up here in E. Lansing this summer taking classes and working, so i'm going to be out of here in 4 years, piece of cake. I cant wait to live with Chadd this summer! Im going to be a moving maniac!

All of my christmas projects turned out perfectly. I'm so glad.

I think ill start my list of new years resolutions... I have quite a few, and i think im gonna rock them all!

Almost done with Finals! I woke up early and spent the entire day at the library studying for ISP with Jordan. For some reason i have really been digging the lib lately. Plus its always fun when you study with friends.(while also making it hard to study). We probably should have gotten kicked out of the library bc we are too rowdy. Anywhoo, we studied for like 8 hours and then went to our exam, which by the way took us like 25 min and was a piece of cake. Then we went back to case and hung out, said hi to a few ppl, remeniced and whatnot. Then I got a quick tour of his house this year! Its pretty cutsie! Im really glad things are back to normal with us. I literally sleep better at night.
After all of that jazz I went back to the library and studied with Megh and Vashi (the guys across the hall). Im pretty burnt out right now. Tomorrow morning is my GLG exam and then ill be done! It feels so surreal. What a fast semester.
I cant wait until break. Im overloading myself with work, but thats ok. All of my roommates are all leaving for the break so ill be up here... probably crafting. I should be making it home on the 23rd so woot woot! I'm 1/2 way done making my Christmas presents for my family. I have to head over to joes sometime tomorrow to finish working on my brothers project. Im so glad hes up here, hes like my dad up at msu. He has all of the tools and skills i need from home, but just a skip-hop-and a jump away! So YAY JOE!

alrighty, Time to put my Geology notebook under my pillow and hope i absorb it all by 7am.

Dear Friends,
I'm feeling so much better. I told my parents about my computer and we are workin it out. The guilt and nervousness was just eating my alive. My parents know that I've been stressed lately so they came up and visited me at work today :) I LOVE it when my surprise me at work! And then Joe came and ate during my nightshift! That was another good surprise!
PLUS, i decorated the apartment for Christmas last night. It looks so great, I just cant help but smile. Hopefully Jordan will let me decorate his house this week! Then I could spread the love!

Last night was really wierd. I watched the season finale of The Real World with Di, and then headed over to Kelly & Joels to hang out. Then when I got home, there was a drink next to my computer and I knocked it over and it spilled all over my computer. Yeah, its dead, and so am I.

I swear, I just collapsed and started sobbing. I mean, partially beacuse of my computer, partially because of life I guess. All I could think about was how I am going to fix my computer, or afford a new one. My rent & tuition is all due within the next 2 weeks and I have been working like mad to save up, so I definitly do not have enough $ for a new computer.

I woke up, curled in a ball on my floor this morning. I guess I cried myself to sleep.

Tonight Tiffany's family had me over for dinner. Its almost scary how similar our families are. It made me really miss mine. Oh! im joining my brothers middle school snowboard club to be a chapperone. I dunno, im excited about it so i can teach Jeff some moves and hang out with him.

speaking of snowboarding... how sad am i that i didnt join the club this year? I mean, dont get me wrong, those guys are total douchebags (with the exception of a few), but my friend kevin joined, and i ended up working with Chad, and so id actually like some of the ppl going out there this year, but nooooooo... im so dumb. Maybe chad will pack me away.

Went home for a day, just what i needed

Just got back to E. Lansing from home. I went home for a bit just to get some stuff done and it was exacTly what i needed. Yesterday I had lunch with my dad, then I went to dinner with Kristin and her baby, then watched a movie with my parents. Today I got my hair cut, got my nails done, then went out and gathered a bunch of autumn leaves for my project for my room scheme for next year. Im so excited I can hardly wait. My room will be nothing short of sexy. :) Anywho, after that, I took my family out to dinner at Mr. Bs, then my dad helped me dry my leaves and my mom made me some food to take back up to school. Overall it was a short trip, but a good one. I treated myself nice and had fun with the fam as always. Oh, and I slept a lot.

I seriously love my family.

and what im getting/making my sister for her bday/xmas is just awesome. i cant wait.
